Les Beaux Châteaux de France

France is famous for its magnificent and original castles. Gigi Kuhn will share a creative selection by historical and architectural style, offering a unique experience through different eras of French history. Students will discover the rich styles of stunning French castles in various regions and present their favorite style in the final class. Travel virtually to discover castle treasures in France!

French Language Intensive

Ready to jumpstart your journey to French? Award-winning prof Gigi Kuhn will offer a one-week intensive courses for beginner-level French speakers. These intensives are a great way to learn the basics and get prepared for upcoming in-person course offerings in the fall.

L'Alliance Française de Pittsburgh offers Private and Group French Classes. To take classes with us, you must become a member of AF.

Placement Test

Before you begin taking classes with us, we'd like to get to know a little bit about your level of French, so we can place you in the proper classes.

We use the free TCF examine, which tests your oral comprehension, language structure, and reading comprehension.

After completing the test, please take a screenshot of your results and email the picture to pittalliancefrancaise@gmail.com. The results do not download.
